Friday is finally here and if you're lucky enough to not have to be at work today, you may be wondering how you can make the most of it and do something fun with the children or have a little 'me time'.
I've hatched a plan, so here are my egg-citing and egg-squisite egg themed suggestions to help you get your Easter weekend off to a cracking start!
If you're looking for something fun to do with the children, why not try some egg painting? Have an egg design competition or if your local community is into rock painting and hiding for others to discover, why not paint some Easter themed rocks and go out for a family walk distributing them around your neighbourhood.
There are lots of other crafty things you can do either with the family or on your own if you enjoy decorating your home with seasonal items. I love the white display trees that you can use to hang things from like baubles at Christmas or decorated eggs hung with ribbon at Easter. You could also add tiny LED lights to give that extra bit of sparkle! You could get the children to make some of their own decorations to hang on the tree and you could even make your own tree by collecting thin branches and arranging them in a vase.
Of course the best thing you can do with eggs is some baking! You could make some tasty treats for the Easter weekend for everyone to enjoy and you can decorate them with more eggs - just the chocolate variety! Any leftover eggs could be used as decorations too, in a basket or bowl, although I daresay the chocolate ones wouldn't last that long on display in a bowl!
Whatever you decide to do, make it fun and also today gives you the chance to do any last minute prep for your Easter weekend - egg hunts, family meals, planning outings etc.
